Jared Lee Wiseman

Jared Lee Wiseman (he/him) is an actor, comedian, writer, and master procrastinator located in the Brooklyn, NY. Having lived in Pennsylvania, Texas, Illinois, California, and New York, Jared finds his humor from his wide exposure to all walks of life. Raised Jewish, he has an innate sense of realism and a natural intolerance to dairy.

You can catch Jared at various open-mics and comedy showcases throughout New York City and Long Island. Not too long ago, he performed in two shows at Second City, Hollywood and attended Columbia College Chicago for an arguably useless degree in comedy writing and performance.

Jared was a top-10 finalist for “The 2019 Great Long Island Laugh Off” stand-up competition produced by Governor’s Comedy Club on Long Island, New York. He also won the first annual “AEPi International Talent Show” judged by WME executive Ari Greenburg.

Along with comedy, Jared enjoys writing television scripts and feature screenplays. His classical comedic style is evident through his writing, which typically consists of eccentric characters, unique situations, and rampant poop jokes.

“Jared writes classical stock comedy in the tone of Mel Brooks. He’s what I call a sharp cookie and definitely has professional potential.” - Steve Zacharias, Emmy Award Winning Writer
